Industrials

Duvel Moortgat

Fleet electrification and industrial growth

To support electric trucks and future growth, Imby optimizes electric truck charging, cooling, PV and battery storage to make better use of available grid capacity.

PV
320 kWp + 1,014 kWp installed solar capacity
BESS
600 kW power / 1,290 kWh storage
EV
3 AC chargers; 2 × 11 kW; ultra-fast charging >300 kW

Project goal: Support fleet electrification and future growth.

Lemmens

Industrial growth thanks to power sharing

With limited grid capacity, Lemmens needed a new approach to industrial expansion. Thanks to Imby’s smart energy management and connection of the site to a local eHub, the industrial has more access to grid capacity and lower energy prices.

PV
150 kWp PV, doubling planned
BESS
200 kW / 400 kWh battery

Project goal: Faster growth through an eHub.

Electric bus operator

Cost reduction

For a bus fleet operator planning to expand from one to 16 electric buses, Imby designed a phased approach to combine electric bus charging, solar and battery storage. Coordinating energy use with bus schedules offers the potential to reduce energy costs per kilometre by more than 30%.

PV
152 kWp existing capacity, increasing to a maximum of 402 kWp
BESS
0.5 MW power / 1 MWh+ storage to start
EV
0.35 MW charging capacity across seven DC chargers

Project goal: Potential energy cost reduction of more than 30% per kilometre.

Farmers

Belgian farmer

Lower energy costs

Coordinating generation, storage and production, including specific farming process integration and automation, even a pocket digester. Supports business growth while targeting lower energy costs and greater use of local renewable energy.

PV
250 kWp planned solar capacity
BESS
250 kW power / 370 kWh storage

Project goal: Use more local renewable energy and support growth.

OPZuid FLECS

In Roosendaal, local businesses and energy partners are collaborating on FLECS, an innovative project designed to combat grid congestion. The initiative creates an energy community where participants locally generate, store, and share power. Managed by an AI-driven system, FLECS balances supply and demand in real time to build a collective, future-proof energy market. Energy Freedom is part of a large consortium.
